DSM in Supply Agreement with QRxPharma

DSM Pharmaceutical Products has signed a manufacturing and supply agreement with QRxPharma for the U.S. production of its novel MoxDuo pain management capsules through 2015. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The agreement covers the production of MoxDuo Capsules, an immediate-release Dual Opioid pain therapy, a patented 3:2 fixed ratio combination of morphine and oxycodone. DSM will supply commercial volumes upon marketing approval. DSM operates a 1.5 million-sq.-ft. finished dosage facility in Greenville, NC, for oral solid dosage and liquid steriles, and has regulatory approval for the production of scheduled drugs.
